Forum Title: Do you subscribe to any email newsletters?* If so why do you subscribe to them?
What’s everyone’s thoughts on email newsletters? I personally like them they are typically more entertaining to read and more information packed than regular emails. I know lots of people just trash them and never even open them? I’m going to start sending them out again I know they can be a useful tool if done properly. Please let me know if there things you enjoy or hate about them.

I didn't even know they exist. I do subscribe to the pavement magazine which I love, it is loaded. Wish there were other magazines but I haven't seen any. can you name a few of these news letters?

I agree, so much email it’s hard to sort. We have a general box that most news letters go to, then they can be forwarded to the right person. My sealing guys don’t care about a paving newsletter.

The only bad thing with news letters is that typical emails are overwhelming as is. I always at least glance at them, but don’t read as much as Pavement Magazine. As far as content, I’d rather it be an update on the company it’s coming from rather than a sales pitch. Like “Hey everyone, here’s what we do in the winter” rather than an informational piece on the product. If I’m sending out one, It would be more for a reminder to contact us for services. Speaking of, what programs do you all use? I see many with Constant Contact. Last question, has FB eliminated the need for newsletters??
